During the primary years, students gain mastery of their basic skills in English, mathematics, science, social studies and technology.

Physical and social development also play an extremely important part in children’s education. Dunwoody Academy’s elementary students partake in performing arts, physical education, art and technology-based activities.

Our teachers are fully aware that all children have a preferred learning style, and reach their individual needs through a variety of teaching approaches and learning activities. Students are constantly exposed to numerous cooperative learning and student-centered activities that exercise and develop their leadership skills.
